Ron Paul supporters are attempting a one day 10 million dollar cash infusion into the Republican presidential candidate’s campaign coffers. The plan has been circulating on various internet websites for 1 hundred thousand people to make a 1 hundred dollar donation on November 5th. If Paul’s supporters follow through they will give Ron Paul a one day pop of 10 million dollars.

The amazing part about the fund raising drive is that Ron Paul’s campaign said they had nothing to do with it and that it was just a spontaneous idea that caught on among Ron Paul supporters in online communities and websites like This November 5th.

While such a massive display of grassroots support for a candidate has never been demonstrated before, it is not entirely out of the question. This Ron Paul TV ad that just started running in New Hampshire had 90,000 views on YouTube yesterday and has risen to 175,000 views today.

Even if Paul doesn’t get a 10 million dollar cash infusion on November 5th, Ron Paul’s message has been getting out through the internet resulting in an unprecedented online fund raising prowess. Paul raised over 5 million last quarter and has raised about 2.5 million in October.

Ron Paul’s appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Tuesday night is also likely to boost the candidate’s image with the general public.

Ron Paul’s campaign has centered on protecting civil liberties, a non interventionist foreign policy, border security, abolishing federal income taxes, and reforming the monetary system.

The long time Republican Congressman from Texas was one of only four Congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan in 1976.
